The Operating System
For this part, we get into the software used for operating systems, We decided to drop the windows operating systems because simply we are too advanced to play on a system like that. These are just a few systems we use now.
Lubuntu is a lightweight Linux distribution based on Ubuntu but using the LXDE desktop environment in place of Ubuntu’s Unity shell and GNOME desktop. LXDE is touted as being “lighter, less resource hungry and more energy-efficient.
We tested this on many aspects of a typal user, we found that it is not made for uses of cd making and it’s not really able to be to stable for uses of transferring files from sd or cd to or from the hard drive it also had some flaws in creating cds this system is more of the office use, it did let users scan document from a scanner of many years back it can print and do other office programs and can be used as a system for a softphone system.
Ubuntu Studio 18.04
Ubuntu Studio is a recognized flavour of the Ubuntu Linux distribution, which is geared to general multimedia production. The original version, based on Ubuntu 7.04, was released on 10 May 2007.
This is an os need for uses of creativity from music to graphics it’s an all in one studio. problem is its a full all in one, not like the uses of fedora’s system where its lighter for each uses for music, graphics and programming. With Fedora you have 3 CDs for each set up this carries 3 in one, in turn, this can be confusing, but do know many people have a like for an all in one if we are to get creative in all areas, we like the Ubuntu system as well as other Linux systems that we have had hands-on with
